Before I end this blog and make it something bigger, I want to give out a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way and throughout the process of creating this. It means a lot to me to have both physical and moral support from my friends and family. Sending a special thank you to my mother for being a featured special guest on the live video segment that I created, which is now up and loaded on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfsUXIT2QAI&t=52s. Also one final thank you to #SneakerScouts for also being a helping hand and always keeping me up to date with the latest sneaker fashion.
Creating this blog has made me feel extremely blessed and grateful, it has also opened up a wide variety of things for me to do within the fashion industry and how I style my sneakers. Since a young child I have always been into fashion and sneakers but while creating this blog it has made me want to take it more seriously and has me considering doing fashion photoshoots with the clothes and sneakers that I wear.
Wrapping this semester up I will be a junior at Texas State University, majoring in Mass Communications with the hopes of being one of the few female sports analyst. This blog allowed me to voice my opinion and show me that I can do anything that I put my mind to. Lastly, I want to say that in the future I will be continuing blogging about sneakers but instead of it being written, it will contain live footage of a video sneaker review and of course featuring all kinds of special guest. You all can be on the look out for the live version of A Walking Ticket coming to YouTube very soon!
Thank you all again for your support.
Be sure to follow me on all social media platforms.

Ending the semester there are always things that could’ve gone better than they did, one thing that I would have loved to improve within my site is making my reviews live. This would give me an opportunity to discuss more about the sneaker and give real examples on how I would wear the sneaker along with video/image content. This has led me to wanting to create my own youtube channel. I could have promoted my content a little better than I did by having a special guest, like I did with my mother to get others’ insight and opinions on different pairs of sneakers. The best experience I had within this project was that #SneakerScouts reached out to me on a personal level to help promote their sneakers. This could potentially benefit me in a way that I could become someone who is well-known in the sneaker community, allowing me to be a promoter of sneakers and street fashion. In the future I will use these skills like I did on the blog to promote all of my work, the photoshoots of outfits that I wear with sneakers and so much more.
Analyzing the content and effectiveness of my blog A Walking Ticket my most popular week was February 17th through the 23rd, I had 91 views and 45 visitors. The post titled What’s in The Closet was also my most popular post, because it gave viewers the opportunity to see what I have in my closet to determine if I actually am a sneakerhead. This was a chance for all viewers to see who I am and my passion for sneakers. Nothing was surprising to me looking at the site stats, after every post I would go and see how many people viewed the post that I made to make sure that it was something people actually wanted to read about. Once I made the announcement that I would be starting a sneaker blog I instantly had support from all of my family and friends, without the support of them there wouldn’t have been a blog, and I appreciate them greatly for that.

Designed by Kanye West, Yeezys have to be one of the most expensive pairs of sneakers that I own. From 350 Boosts to 700’s, I love my Yeezys. Because Kanye West is extremely bland in his fashion with simple pastel and calm colors this is why I am attracted to these sneakers. Typically I wear my 350’s with some sort of sweat pants or Adidas tights, and the same goes for my 700’s. Both ordered off of StockX.com these sneakers were by far one of the hardest releases to purchase, ranging from $200 to just under $350.
Originally designed in 2006 and displayed to Adidas, Kanye West was denied and never released. Bape was one of the first brands to have a collaboration with Kanye. But in 2013 after the release of ‘Red October’ Air Yeezy 2, Kanye West left NIKE officially. The brand of Yeezy is known as one of the most influential sneaker brands in the world. As of December 2017, a total of 19 color-ways and 6 designs have been released within the Adidas and Kanye West collaboration. Most of the sneakers utilize the boost technology created by Adidas, and are modeled by individuals such as Kim Kardashian-West, Rihanna and even Diddy.
Owning the 350 and 700 Boosts, the 700 Inertias are my all time favorites, the pastel blue and orange are great for an all season sneaker. The 350 Statics are very appealing to me as well because they are reflective grey and white, making this an extremely casual sneaker that you can wear with anything. Personally, I’ve witnessed people dress these sneakers up and down, with sweats and suits. On a scale from one to ten both of these shoes get a 9/10, regardless of the price the Yeezys designed by Kanye West are another favorite in my closet.

The Jordan 11 is one of my top three favorite Jordans of all time. My absolute favorite color-way of the Jordan 11 are the Breds (image located below). On a scale of one to ten, I rate this sneaker a 10/10 because I have seen individuals like myself wear this sneaker with several different outfits such as sweats, skirts, jeans with a graphic tee and so much more.
The history behind this sneaker is very astonishing, typically Jordan 11s are released in late November or December every year, with different color-ways. The most recent release took place on December 14, 2019. This sneaker was a release to bring back the original color-way that debuted in 1995. Simply to resemble the colors of the Chicago Bulls with black mesh, and shiny patent leather, as well as a red and white sole. These shoes hit the stores for approximately $180.00 in Kids sizes and about $220.00 in mens.
Originally the Jordan XI (11) was released from 1995-1996, in the 2000’s the shoe became ‘Retro’d’. This Jordan happens to be one of the most popular releases that has been created. This series of sneakers has been released every December since 2008, selling out within minutes of its release time. Exclusively produced only for Michael Jordan in early 1984 and designed by Peter Moore, Tinker Hatfield and Bruce Kilgore this sneaker has been worn as casual, athletic, and styled clothing. This number of sneakers happens to be one of the hottest in the fashion market and streets with several different color-ways, owning the re-released Bred 11’s is one of my favorites in my closet and typically my go-to shoe.
Hey all! Today, I want to take time to reach out and give a big shoutout to #SneakerScouts, this website/page has been a major impact on my shoe addiction.
Everyday they post several different shoe releases that feature the latest drops, shoes that have gone on sale and shoes that are soon to be released. Not only do they provide great information about when and where I can find a shoe but they interact with all of my social media accounts just as if they knew me personally.
Their website https://www.sneakerscouts.com has several different attributes that include sneaker news, a release calendar, galleries, shopping, about us and sales. Not only does this website feature all the news about sneakers, but it is rated the number one source for all general information regarding any sneaker. This page inspires me in hopes that someday I could become a part of their team. They enlighten me due to the fact that there are other individuals out there that have the same love and joy for sneakers as I do.
The one thing that I find most unique about this page is the fact they are more than up to date on every sneaker they post on their page. Their website is extremely easy to navigate around, they feature all of their posts on the three main social media pages including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. You can also reach out to them through email (info@sneakerscouts.com)

This post is just a small appreciation for another member of the sneaker community and all they do. Thank you #SneakerScouts for inspiring me as a sneaker-head and blogger for making this all possible. Your post and features inspire me daily.

Hi all and welcome back! Todays #HotOrNot features everyones all time favorite, Air Jordan 1s. As I stated in the What’s in my closet portion, this shoe is definitely one of my top favorites. To be specific my favorite pair of Jordan 1s are known as the Top 3s this shoe includes the statement of Michael Jordan himself being drafted third overall in the NBA’s draft back in 1984. This shoe had to be one of the most difficult items to purchase at retail price when they were first released, but now they are running for more than $400.
The releases of AirJordan 1s tend to sell out within just a couple of hours of them being released. This shoe is offered in three different versions including low-top, mids and the famous high-top. Recently Jordan has been creating many different colorways of this shoe. This is allowing the shoe to be great for any type of outfit or occasion. Females wear them with anything from distressed shorts, baggy mom jeans, and leather pants to males wearing them with sweatpants, graphic tees or a button down polo shirt. Personally I rate this shoe a 10/10 because there are so many different ways you can dress this shoe up and down.
Not only did the shoes created symbolize moments in Michael Jordan’s career but this year was something special. In 1985 this is when Jordan won NBA’s rookie of the year and the first time he ever wore his own shoe. The nickname of the first Jordan’s he ever wore were called Banned this being because the shoes colorway did not match the regulations that the National Basketball Association had. Every time Jordan would wear the pair of shoes he was fined $5,000. This having a complete backwards effect on marketing, causing the first pair of “dead-stock” 1s to run for about $2,000. Originally marketed at $65.99 this shoe was the first debut of what led to Jordans unique history of shoe culture.
Take a look at my most recent Air Jordan 1 purchase…

Check out this site https://www.grailed.com/drycleanonly/jordan-1-history for more information regarding the classic Jordan 1s.
Welcome back everyone! Todays #HotOrNot shoe NIKE’s world known classic all white Air Force 1s. This shoe is most definitely top two in my closet and not number two. This shoe is such a classic that you can wear it with absolutely anything. For example, I have seen many individuals dress this shoe up and down with tights, sweatpants, ripped jeans, dresses, and some have even worn them in their weddings! Personally, this classic is my automatic go to shoe for two reasons only, it’s all white and it’s the perfect shoe.
Debuting in the 90’s forces have been hot in the retail market since the day they first released. Initially this shoe was running for about fifty to sixty dollars now it is in stores for about seventy-five to eighty dollars. Coming in solid black, white and now we’ve even seen multiple colorways within the shoe. Although this shoe doesn’t get much advertisement it is still a top seller in all parts of the country. Not only does this shoe have the name Air Force 1s (AF1) but it has also picked up several different street names such as forces, cocaines, g-fazos, and OG’s.
These throwback pairs of sneakers have been seen everywhere getting shown off by many celebrities. But since they are all white there is one main rule that this shoe has picked up, and that is once it gets dirty you do not clean it, you buy a new pair. Despite that not being an option for everyone there are shoe care products that you can purchase (Jason Mark and store brand shoe cleaners) that will help get the majority of the smudges off of the shoe. I also own a pair of Force Fields that prevent the shoe from creasing across the top where your foot tends to bend while walking.
Personally on a scale from one to ten I rate this shoe a 10/10 because it is a classic and you cannot go wrong with an all white shoe everyone needs a pair. Lastly, this shoe symbolizes hip-hop’s never ending quest to stay fresh.

Before I begin to review any shoe I feel like I should give everyone the opportunity to get a quick feel on what’s in my closet. Not only do I feel like this will connect me with all of you but it will allow you to feel me out as well. In my closet I have a wide variety of shoes but typically all of my shoes are sneakers considering me to be a “Sneaker-head”. Personally, my top three favorite number of Jordans are the 1s, 3s and 11s. The next category of sneaker that tends to be my go to are the all white low top Air Force 1s. These are just some of the things that are in my closet having any and every shoe ranging from Ugg Slides to Yeezys.
Typically when there is a shoe release and I know it will be one that everyone is trying to get then I will order ahead or go into the local malls and enter in for a raffle. A raffle is normally held the Wednesday before the shoes set release date on Saturday, your name is entered into a drawing the day the shoe comes out. If your name is selected then you go and pick up the shoe without standing having to stand in line. But, if I am not lucky enough to get the shoe the day it is released then I go on StockX a website where you are able to buy, sell and bid on shoes that tend to be popular. For example exclusive shoes that are hard to purchase in stores such as Yeezys and Jordans 1s are the main items that I get from there.

My next post will consist of my very first shoe review. I will be taking suggestions in the replies section on my twitter account. Please subscribe to my blog by clicking on the link below! Thank you all so much for your time.

Hello Everyone! Many of you may be wondering who I am and essentially what this blog is about. Well let me inform you, my name is India Mack a Mass Communications major with a minor in Communication Studies and a concentration in Sports Media at Texas State University. I am a sophomore and tend to graduate in the year of 2022. I grew up in Plano, Texas which is a sub city just about 30 minutes from Dallas.
Growing up I always had a love for shoes and fashion. But this all changed once I became older and was able to dress myself. I would always tend to dress a little different from everyone else whether that was wearing something crazy or having shoes that no-one seemed to have. This blog is intended to reach out to people who have the same love for shoes/fashion as I do. Many of my posts will consist of reviews on shoes as well as several ways and ideas I would style a shoe with an outfit or what shoe I would wear on an occasion. Hints the name “A Walking Ticket by India ” this blog is a simple guideline to everyday street fashion. I will include several #Hotornot posts to ensure that my viewers feel as if they are a part of this and it is not just about me.
I am extremely excited to get this blog up and running and will be grateful for any type of feedback dealing with shoes as well as any reviews that you would like for me to do regarding a specific shoe. Thank you all so much for taking the time to show interest in my blog! I cannot wait to give you all ‘A Walking Ticket’ the simplest guideline to everyday street fashion.
